Port of Lefkada offers another fantastic starting point for your sailing holiday at the heart of the Ionian sailing area.
Accessibility
Port of Lefkada is situated on the north-eastern side of the island, a hop away from Lefkada town. The 50-meter long bridge that connects the port area with the Greek mainland is considered a major advantage for speedy access at your convenience.
By plane: Preveza-Aktio Airport (PVK) is located only 18km from Lefkada marina. There are daily flights from many European cities from April through to October, and daily flights from Athens International Airport (ATH). By car: Despite being an island, Lefkada is easily accessible by car via a short bridge to the mainland.
Destinations
Starting from Lefkada, you can island hop your way around, getting all the way down to Ithaca and even further afield to Kefalonia if you wish.
Corfu is situated at the northern part of Ionian Sea. Apart from Paxi and Antipaxi, islands famous for turquoise crystal clear waters, close to Corfu lies the Thesprotian coast with its traditional villages.

Corfu’s airport hosts flights from many European cities as well as the main Greek ones. A ferry connects Corfu with the mainland and the other Ionian islands.
By plane: There are daily flights from Athens International Airport (ATH) to Corfu airport (CFU), with a flight time of 50 minutes. The airport is less than 5km away from Corfu town and less than 10km from Gouvia village. By ferry: Ferries to Corfu run daily from Igoumenitsa port. There is also frequent connection to the other islands of Ionian Sea, such as Lefkada, Kefalonia & Zakynthos.

Mykonos Marina (known locally as the New Port) is located in Tourlos, approximately two kilometres north of the Old Port and town of Mykonos (Chora). It provides good shelter from the prevailing winds and is quiet, being away from the main town, but close enough to be able to come and go with ease.
Accessibility
Mykonos Marina is connected to Chora and the Old Port by taxi or bus. The main taxi stand is located on the waterfront in Chora and the main bus station is near the windmills on the top side of Chora. It is walking distance from Chora, but we do not recommend this, especially with luggage.
By ferry: In the summer months, Mykonos is served by four ferries daily that depart from Piraeus port or Rafina port (Rafina port is the closest port to Athens International airport). The trip can take between 2 and 5 hours, depending on which you service you choose. During the peak season (between mid-June and late August), we recommend booking at least one month in advance to avoid disappointment. From the ferry terminal, it is a 5 minute walk to the marina.
By plane: Every major European airport has direct flights to Athens, whilst many also now have direct flights to Mykonos. From Athens, there are around 18 flights from Athens International Airport (ATH) to Mykonos on a daily basis in the summertime. The flight takes approximately 35 minutes. From the aiport, we recommend taking a taxi to the marina, which is 6kms away.
